The Slipper Room will be temporarily shutting its doors while we build a whole new theatre on top of the existing one story building we now occupy. The new space will have improvements such as good sight lines, a mezzanine, and ceilings high enough to have aerialists perform. We will be bringing you great shows in our current location until at least Wednesday, June 2. We are finalizing a deal with a downtown club to have Slipper Room parties in exile. Look to this missive as soon as next week for more specific details, but suffice to say, the Slipper Room is not going away, we will continue to produce the same great burlesque and variety events you have come to expect, and will be back on Orchard Street before you know it, in an amazing new theatre.
